| Friendship Fountain (Friendship Park) was
dedicated in 1965 and is one of the largest self-contained
fountains ever built, pumping 17,000 gallons of water per
minute to a height of 120 feet, with 265 lights molding the
water into a sparkling mist. Great place for a picnic, or
just to watch the river flow by, Friendship Park provides
the ideal setting for a little Downtown relaxation.
